How messages are counted
One message = one AI answer. Your customers' questions are never counted. Greetings, the welcome message, and quick prompts are free. Messages sent through the API, MCP, and the Playground count the same as widget messages.
Most competitors count both sides of the exchange, so a “2,200 message” plan is really about 1,100 conversations. Ours isn't.
How pages are counted
One page = 2,500 characters of cleaned text. Re-syncing a document doesn't double-count it — only the difference applies. Deleting a document returns its pages to your quota.
Voice minutes
Metered separately from messages, counted while a voice session is open. Minutes reset monthly and don't roll over.
Trial and downgrades
Every new account gets 7 days of Growth, free, no card. When the trial ends you move to the free tier — your bot, knowledge base, and conversations stay intact. Paid-only features (like hidden branding) switch off immediately.
Rate limits
Requests per minute scale with your plan and apply per bot for the widget and per token for the API. A 429 response includes a Retry-After header.
